This is by far the best location available in the area. Not only is it within the National Park, it has the best weather in the area. The village area is almost always damp, dark, wet and miserable, but we are just a little higher elevation and it is almost always beautiful, sunny (with occasional light misty rain) and drier than anywhere else you can stay. We have just completed a major remodel to this darling cottage nestled in the woods at the Volcano Golf & Country Club. You will enjoy all the comforts of home in the 3 bedroom, 2 FULL bath home with special amenities like woodburning fireplace, newly remodelled kitchen, complete with pots, pans, utencils and dining tableware and a new dishwasher to clean it all. The luxurious Queen room has a new Pillowtop bed (from Costco-pure luxury!), the King room has it's own full bath with beautiful tile work. The Keki (children's) room has 2 twin beds bunkbed style for fun and adventure. All rooms have their own french door entryway for added privacy and fantastic bedroom views. Fresh and well laundered linens are provided. | Volcano National Park is truly a wonderful place to visit. But you can't really get to know it unless you spend some time. Even if you can only afford to spend 2 days here, you will get so much more out of the experience than if you only spend a day in the park. Renting this house, with full kitchen to make meals if you want, or dine in the village at the local restaurants, will make your visit so much more relaxing than driving long distances after your park experience.
Stay and get to know your wonderful Volcano National Park  This is the BEST place to stay in the Volcano National Park area. Because of certain weather conditions, the Volcano Golf & Country Club area has the BEST weather. It is always damp and dreary in Volcano Village where the majority of rentals are located, but here at the "Golf Course" it is usually fair weather.
